Agility Classes

We offer all levels of agility training, from Beginner classes all the way through to Advanced agility classes.

YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE SPORT OF AGILITY BUT NOT SURE IF YOUR DOG IS????

Well, we have the class for you. Come join us for AGILITY FOR FUN. You are your dog will come once a week for two weeks. During week one, under supervision and your dog on leash, your dog will be introduced to all the equipment. In week 2 we will begin to sequence a few obstacles, all on-leash.

The next Agility for Fun class will be held the Summer of 2011.

Agility for Fun Application.

Beginner Agility Class I – This class will introduce you and your dog to the agility equipment while keep all the equipment low. We also begi

n working on the student’s handling so they learn how to instruct their dog to continue to each obstacle. You will also be learning how to condition your dog and make sure they are in shape for agility. You will begin sequencing obstacles.

Beginning Agility will start on Saturday Jan 28, 2012 at 1:00pm and will run for seven weeks. This class will be indoors. Beginning Agility Application – cost $99.

Beginner Agility Class II – Your dog has now been introduced to all the equipment. Your dog will be off-leash around the other dogs while performing the exercises. The equipment is still low but the height of the equipment will begin to be raised. The handlers will continue to learn more about handling. You will continue sequence more obstacles.

Novice Agility – You and your dog will begin to learn distance work while the equipment continues to be raised in height. Students will continue learning more handling exercises.

Intermediate Agility Class – The equipment will now be full height and you and your dog are running full courses.

Advanced Agility Class – You are now performing advanced full courses.
