A structured day for a happier, better-behaved dog.

Small groups, real routines, and a whole lot of attention. Your dog comes home tired in the best way — mentally stimulated, physically tired, and ready for a long nap.

We’re not a free-roam yard.

Traditional doggie daycare turns dogs loose in a big yard and lets them figure exercise out for themselves. We don’t think that’s a great deal for your dog.

At Field of Dreams Doggie Day School, your dog gets structured play in small groups of 5 or less — sorted by play style and temperament — plus walks, impulse control work, and proper rest. All off-leash play is monitored by qualified staff. Every dog goes home tired but happy.

Four pillars, all day long

A real routine that balances activity with rest — because over-tired dogs make poor choices.

Walking

Every dog gets walked as soon as they arrive, and several more times between activities throughout the day. It’s how we start things calm and stay things calm.

Socialization

After an initial behavioral assessment, your dog joins a play group of 3-5 dogs matched by play style — minimizing injuries and bullying. Outdoor play in our enclosures (or inside during bad weather), always staff-monitored.

Nap Time

Rest between activities isn’t optional — it’s the whole point. Tired dogs make bad choices. Scheduled breaks keep your dog from getting over-excited and into trouble.

Impulse Control

Built into every transition. We work on kennel manners (calm before being released to playmates) and asking dogs to sit and give attention at each entry and exit — so the excitement of changing environments stays manageable.

We reinforce the positive behaviors throughout the day — no jumping, no nuisance barking, calm greetings. Our goal is for these habits to carry home with your dog.

Getting started

Glad you’re thinking about joining the Field of Dreams Day School family. Here’s what we need to get your dog on the schedule.

  • Complete the application

Download the day school application, fill it out, and either bring it with you or email it back. View Application →

  • Share vaccine records

We need DAP (or your vet’s variant) and Rabies records to the extent of your dog’s age, plus a current Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. A flu vaccine is recommended but optional — that’s between you and your vet. You or your vet can email records to foddoggieds@gmail.com

  • Sign the waiver on day one

You’ll sign a waiver in person on your dog’s first day. We’ll also do a behavioral assessment so we can place them in the right play group.

  • Your dog’s first day

Once their record is complete, we’ll schedule their first day. We can’t wait to meet them.
